IMPORTANT OATHS IN INDIAN CONSTITUTION

 


APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT :

The Chief Justice of India or in his absence senior most judge of supreme court administers the oath of the office to the President .

APPOINTMENT OF VICE-PRESIDENT :

The President or some person appointed in that behalf by the President administers the oath of the office to the vice-president. 

APPOINTMENT OF JUDGE OF SUPREME COURT :

The President or some person appointed in that behalf by the President administers the oath of the office to the judge of supreme court . 

APPOINTMENT OF GOVERNOR :

The Chief Justice of High Court or in his absence senior most Judge of that court administers the oath of the office to the governor .

APPOINTMENT OF JUDGE OF HIGH COURT :

The Governor or some person appointed by in that behalf by him administers the oath of the office to the judge of high court .

APPOINTMENT OF MINISTER IN UNION COUNCIL OF MINISTERS :

The President administers the oath of the office to the minister in union council of ministers . 

APPOINTMENT OF MINISTERS IN STATE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS :

The President administers the oath of the office to the minister in state council of ministers . 

APPOINTMENT OF COMPTROLLER AND AUDITOR GENERAL :

The President or some person appointed in that behalf by the President administers the oath of the office to the comptroller and auditor general. 

APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT :

The President or some person appointed in that behalf by the President administers the oath of the office to the member of parliament. 

APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF LEGISLATURE OF A  STATE :

The President or some person appointed in that behalf by the President administers the oath of the office to the member of legislature of a state .
